If you want to watch some of the best basketball in Northern Virginia during the Christmas holiday week, the 2007 Raytheon Bulldog Bash Holiday Basketball Tournament at Westfield High School is the place you want to be.
The Westfield High School Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will be hosting some of the best teams in the area.This year's girl's participants include Annandale, Dominion, Freedom, Robert E. Lee, Washington & Lee, the Bullis School (Maryland), Midlothian (Richmond, VA), and Westfield. The boy's bracket includes Freedom, Liberty, Robinson, South County, West Mecklenburg (North Carolina), Woodbridge, and Westfield.
The 2007 four-day tournament kicks off on Wednesday, December 26 and will run through Saturday, December 29 (click here for the schedule). All games will be played at Westfield High School (click here for directions) throughout each tournament day and the tournament will culminate with boys and girls championship on Saturday evening.
Admission Costs are $5 per day (good for all games on that day). A four-day tournament pass is available for $16 (good for all games in the tournament) and a three-day tournament pass is available for $12 (good for all games in the last three days of tournament). Free admission will be granted to:
Coaches, players, managers and score keepers for participating teams
VHSL, VISL, WCAC, ISL and IAC high school coaches and school administrators
Newspaper, TV, print, and other electronic media personnel
Senior citizens (60 Years of age and older).
Pre-School children under 6 years of age.
College coaches, scouts, and administration personnel
All youth basketball players (when wearing their basketball jersey and accompanied by a paying parent)
